How to Negotiate a Great Deal on a Toyota Lease

How to Negotiate a Great Deal on a Toyota Lease TSUSHO

Negotiating a Toyota Lease Specials can be as simple as these steps:

  • Research your favorite car

  • Use the Internet to find a good deal

  • Be patient and watch the price fall

So you want to take advantage of some of the amazing car deals out there today. You’ve seen some of your friends get a pretty nice set of wheels at a nice, low price. You want in on this action so you can get a nice, new ride yourself. What you need, though, is to find out how to negotiate a great deal on a Toyota Lease Specials.

But how? There’s lots of confusion involved with shopping around for a great deal on a Toyota car Lease Specials. Making matters worse, many people get nervous at the mere thought of dealing with a car salesman because they think the numbers won’t end up in their favor. Car dealers work their negotiation skills every day while the average car shopper has to negotiate a car deal every four years.

Here are a few tips to help you get started in how to negotiate a great deal on a Toyota Camry lease:

  1. Do your homework: Research as much information on your desired car. You can use the Internet to figure out the best price that you should be negotiating.

  2. Shop around: You can do this physically and over the Internet. Go take a few test drives at your local dealer, which will accomplish two things – a) you’ll confirm your love for the car; and b) you’ll get the car salesman interested in a starting point for negotiations. On the Internet you can find amazing deals on a Toyota Corolla Lease Specials.

  3. Use the Internet: Once you confirm the car of your desire (and possibly even have a quote from the salesman you worked with at the dealership), you can start calling around to other dealers in the area to get a quote over the phone. You can even call dealers in different parts of your state. This data is very helpful when deciding how low the price can get. Search the Internet to find Toyota dealers that will offer some amazing deals.

--Here’s a tip: don’t tell other car dealers what kind of prices you’ve been getting. Most of the time the price you’ll get in this case will be lower simply as a way to get you to come into the showroom.

  4. Be patient: Get ready to play the waiting game because the best way to get that price to drop is to make them chase after you, not the other way around. Call the same salesman several times and tell him/her you’re still interested but you’ve been delayed because you think there may be a different car that’s caught your eye and you want to check it out. Find a way to get the salesman to get desperate.

One final note on how to negotiate a great deal on a Toyota lease: Don’t forget about car Insurance! Use the Internet to also get a competitive and inexpensive car Insurance quote for your new Lease Specials!

2010 Cadillac SRX 2.8T Recall for engine failure fears

Recall News:  General Motors just recalled the 2010 Cadillac SRX equipped with the turbocharged 2.8-liter V6 engine due to the possibility of engine failure.

  • Other GM cars equipped with this engine are presumably to be recalled as well!

The problem originates from the improper use of low octane (regular) gasoline with lower than 91 octane (premium) fuel rating required by the manufacture.

The amalgamation of regular octane fuel and aggressive driving my induce pre-ignition which may cause a loud pinging or knocking sound from the engine.

If the vehicle continues to be driven while under these conditions damage may result ultimately resulting in engine failure serious damage to the engine.

WARRING: this condition may disable the vehicle immediately increasing the risk of an accident.

2010 Cadillac SRX owners are being told to get the Engine Control Modules reprogrammed free of charge from the local dealer.

For more information contact your local General Motors dealer and or National Highway Traffic Safety Administration for updates.

Audi A8 PRESS RELEASE

Audi A8 – taking the fast lane onto the World Wide Web

  • First factory-installed WLAN hotspot in a car

  • Wireless access for iPads, laptops and notebooks

  • Secure encryption, stable connection

The new Audi A8 is the first car in the world to offer an optional factory-installed WLAN hotspot for wireless Internet access. Passengers in the front and rear can simultaneously access the Internet through the car's integrated WLAN module and via UMTS, using up to eight terminal devices such as laptops, Apple iPads or netbooks.

Wireless surfing, accessing information, data and e-mails from company networks, and downloading the latest apps for the iPad – passengers in the front and rear can conveniently and securely use all of these features while traveling in the Audi A8, just as if they were in their own office. WPA2 encryption provides the necessary security for the transfer of data.

Using the WLAN hotspot is remarkably simple. To activate Internet access with speeds up to 7.2 Mbit/s, the driver merely needs to insert a data-capable SIM card into the Bluetooth online car phone. Alternatively, an Internet connection can be established via Bluetooth by using a compatible mobile phone with a SIM Access Profile. Any existing mobile phone contract can be used for this – often coupled with a flat-rate data plan.

Communication with the Internet takes place through the rooftop antenna of the Audi A8 via the car's own UMTS module. This enables utmost connection stability with outstanding reception quality.

Talk Of Raising Fuel Economy Standards Opens Up American Wound

Talk Of Raising Fuel Economy Standards Opens Up American Wound

Fuel economy standards is a debate that’s been heating up over the years. It started way back in the 1970s during the nation’s first true gas crisis and has continued on today.

Here are a few of the hot button issues:

  • Many Americans are concerned about our dependence on foreign energy and oil.

  • By raising fuel economy standards consumers can realize big savings in the price of gasoline they use to power their vehicles.

  • Fuel economy is a heated political issue involving Republicans, Democrats, business leaders and environmentalists

When gas hit $5 per gallon in some parts of the country, did you throw caution to the wind and continue driving that Hummer or Chevy Suburban?

To be fair, gas has come down from that mountain of crisis, meaning you’ve probably climbed down from that window ledge, as well. Not long ago the government sought to increase federally mandated fuel economy standards so that people would get better gas mileage on their cars. Today, car makers must plan to achieve 35.5 miles per gallon for cars entering model year 2016, an increase from the 27.3 mpg slated for 2011. This applies for light trucks also.

Where does this leave the big gas-guzzling SUVs, full-size trucks and other V-8 engine types?

  • Well, for starters, it may mean they’re likely to be jumping off a bridge when 2016 rolls around.

  • At some point it’s difficult to make money on a vehicle with a large engine that must meet such strict fuel economy standards.

  • And the bottom line for all car companies today is that it’s never been more important to design a vehicle lineup that not only fulfills demand but also makes good business sense.

  • Gone are the days of having dozens of brands and vehicle types just for the sake of expanding the business.

Ever since the $5 per gallon gas crisis LeaseTrader.com has seen its fair share of customers looking to escape their large SUV vehicle leases in favor of more fuel-conscious vehicles. Hummer is a dying breed on LeaseTrader.com, just as it is on American roads. Lease Specials transfers on large vehicles still occur because the second lessee is interested in getting a good deal on a short-term deal – no matter the size of the vehicle. But make no mistake, very few are signing up for a 60-month contract on a Hummer at the retail showroom.

Also consider that large trucks and SUVs now make up only four percent of all vehicles on the road. However, even at such a small level they still represent nearly 20 percent of fuel consumption here in the U.S.

Plenty of political maneuvering plays a large role when it comes to fuel economy standards. Unions, business leaders and environmentalists all have a growing stake in fuel economy standards, which means Big Government will continue to be involved in this area of Big Business. Clearly, unions want to save jobs, business leaders want to make profit and environmentalists want to clear the air. When all three forces play a large role, there’s sure to be lots of confusion – and delays.

Where does the general American public reside on this issue? It’s coming into focus considering a Consumer Federation of America survey recently pointed out that 65 percent of those polled would like to see a 50 mpg fuel economy standard by the year 2025.

High-Tech Car Safety Technology does not always save you money

High-Tech Car Safety Technology does not always save you money

Top Car Safety Features Don’t Always Save You Money

High-Tech Car Safety Technology does not always save you money

Are we spending way too much time protecting us from ourselves when it comes to car safety? All kinds of new technology, gadgets and safety systems are coming onto the market – not to mention government’s role in adding new legislation like bans on cell phones while driving – all for the purpose of making driving safer. Lately we’ve been asking if the top car safety features don’t always save you money?

But what if the problem has nothing to do with our need for whiz bang technology that keeps us safe? What if all we need is to become better at driving vehicles?

Case in point, and there is no accusation meant here, but is it safe to ponder whether the Toyota unintended acceleration issue was, at least in part, an issue with driver error rather than the need for better technology?

Understand that this blog post is not meant to say driving while texting shouldn’t be evaluated, nor is anyone making the claim that all we need are a few more driver’s education classes and all our problems will go by the wayside. That’s not the point of this blog post.

  • Although it is interesting to point out a survey on texting while driving conducted by the folks over at LeaseTrader.com.

  • Edmunds and the USA Today both reported recently that we should be responsible enough to ask this question. Are we simply adding all kinds of new technology and legislation just for the sake of protecting us from ourselves?

  • Heck, car makers are even introducing technology and top car safety features that allow the car to parallel park all by itself. That’s like not math in school because computers and calculators will handle everything. It sounds like a great idea until you peel back a few layers to find the consequences down the road.

Just as it’s important to learn math for the sake of shaping the brain and other critical thought patterns, it’s important to learn to drive safely rather than rely on technology to keep us safe from ourselves.

As a side note, it’s also like owners of professional sports teams fighting to institute a salary cap to keep themselves from the irrational spending on salaries only they know so well.

Now for the spending part. Being a safer driver equates to lower bills because you’ll (hopefully) get into fewer accidents and your auto insurance rates will be lower. Plus, if you simply focus on being a better driver, rather than the top car safety features, you won’t need to buy all those whiz-bang safety gadgets that promise to keep you safe in spite of your bad driving habits. While we’re at it, we’ll certainly advise you to keep save the phone call for when you’re not driving, which of course means you’ll have more minutes to use later on.

So do you think the top car safety features don’t always save you money?

7 Ways To Save Big on Auto Repair and Maintenance

Auto Repair made easy,

7 Ways To Save Big on Auto Repair and Maintenance

How to auto repair guide,

Auto Repair and Maintenance,

  • Online Auto Repair Guide,

  • Don’t pay high car repair bills

Think you’ve pinched every penny out of your car when it comes to auto repair and maintenance? Check out the following tips as you may find a few more ways to tighten up that grip on your wallet. Here are seven ways to save big on auto repair:

       Oil change every 3,000 miles

  1. Oil change every 3,000 miles:

My dad used to change the oil in his car every 3,000 miles. Since then car technology has improved and today many cars need to be serviced every 5,000 or sometimes even 7,000 miles. Always check with your trusted mechanic and of course the owner’s manual. But you could be spending more money than needed if you service your car as often as every 3,000 miles.

7 Ways To Save Big on Auto Repair and Maintenance 2

  2. Only going to dealer for maintenance:

There’s something to be said for returning to the dealer every time you need vehicle maintenance. However, keep in mind that a lot of maintenance schedules involve minor tune-ups, which can be adequately handled at a lower cost by your local mechanic.

  b   Shoddy mechanics

  1. Shoddy mechanics:

There are people out there that believe they can get a better deal at their local mechanic compared with the dealer. However make sure you chosen mechanic is certified to ensure they take proper care of your vehicle.

    replace wiper blades

  2. Having dealer replace wiper blades:

It’s often very convenient to simply say yes when you’re standing in front of the service technician that asks if you also want the wiper blades changed when you take the car in for service. After all, it’s a wiper blade, right? How much could it possibly cost? A lot. You can shop for wiper blades at just about every big box retailer (Wal-Mart, Target, etc.) and get them for far cheaper. What’s more, it really isn’t that much work to replace them once you get home, either. Probably less than five minutes.

    Keeping tires inflated

  3. Keeping tires inflated:

This is one of those tips where I honestly believe everyone knows about it yet no one exercises the simple practice of checking the tire pressure. A tire pressure gauge is relatively expensive and it takes only a few minutes each week to make sure each tire is properly inflated. Simply check your owner’s manual or the side of the tire to find out your appropriate pressure levels.

Using premium products to remove exterior stains

  4. Using premium products to remove exterior stains:

You can walk into any retail automotive store and pay top dollar for the very best stain remover if you have dead bugs or dried tar on the exterior of your car. Or you could walk into your kitchen and grab some baking soda and get the same results. The choice is yours. Vinegar and water often works just fine on interior stains. This is especially important if you plan on using LeaseTrader.com to transfer an existing car Lease Specials over to someone else. It’s important to keep your car in good condition so that someone else will be more than happy to take it off your hands.

  5. Windshield washer fluid

  6. Windshield washer fluid:

Buying some of this at the local store won’t cause you to go broke, but you can still save a few bucks by mixing some liquid detergent together with water and rubbing alcohol.

For people that want to possibly do their own tune-up, check out Chilton’s Total Car Care Manual, which offers all kinds of tips and includes illustrations so you can learn your way around the engine. Use these seven ways to save big on auto repair and car maintenance.

Ford Fiesta Joins the 40 mpg club

Ford Fiesta Joins the 40 mpg club

Ford Fiesta Joins the 40 mpg club

Ford Fiesta has become one of the few new cars to join the 40-mile-a-gallon club.

With the six-speed automatic transmission, Fiesta was just certified by the Environmental Protection Agency at 40 mpg highway and 29 mpg city. The five-speed manual transmission model doesn't do quite as well: 23 city and 37 highway. Still pretty darn good, though, especially with a starting price of $13,995 when Fiesta hits showrooms this summer.

  • At 40 mpg, Ford boasts Fiesta is five miles a gallon better than Honda Fit and four miles a gallon better than Toyota Yaris.

  • "The new Fiesta is yet another car in Ford's lineup that delivers class-leading fuel economy," said Barb Samardzich, Ford's vice president of global powertrain engineering. The secret behind the Mexican-built Fiesta ?:

  • It's the 1.6-liter Duratec engine with with variable camshaft timing, good for 120 horsepower and that impressive mpg.

Others in the 40-mpg club are Audi A3 diesel, Ford Fusion Hybrid, Honda Civic, Honda Insight, Mercury Milan Hybrid, Smart ForTwo, Toyota Prius, Volkswagen Golf diesel and Volkswagen Golf diesel. All get at least 40 mpg on the highway.

Top Ten Reasons People Text Instead of Talk

Top Ten Reasons People Text Instead of Talk

Top Ten Reasons People Text Instead of Talk

Back in October, LeaseTrader.com polled 3000 men and women drivers to find out what other driving distractions are more dangerous than texting while driving(LeaseTrader Survey: Children More Distracting Than Texting).

A Nielson study from 2008 reported that in the U.S. today, about 200 million of the 259 million wireless subscribers lines subscribe to or purchase text-message capability. Of these, 138 million (or 53% of all mobile subscribers) use text-messaging on a regular basis). In fact, text-messaging has become so popular and pervasive that U.S. mobile subscribers now send and receive more text-messages in a month than they do phone calls.

I hear a lot of people complain about how much they see people texting, or how their friends never stop, but I, much like your annoying friends, know the truth. So here are the top 10 reasons why texting is totally awesome.

Top Ten Reasons People Text Instead of Talk

  1. Effort – To talk on the phone you need to raise your phone all the way to your ear. To send a text message its only like chest height. Unless you have one of those Bluetooth ear things, but you don’t count because I for one am afraid of androids because Will Smith tells me so.

  2. Emotionless Communication – Talking on the phone is emotionally draining. That’s why your girlfriend likes doing it to you so much. Hang up and sent that bitch a smiley face. Bitches LOOOVE smiley faces.

  3. Time is Money – And I love money. A cell phone call can last 10 minutes. A text message lasts 14 seconds and I probably got more information out of the deal anyway. Who needs hellos and goodbyes?

  4. Universal – Texts can be sent from anywhere and at anytime

  5. Memory – Texts can be saved and re-read in order to regain memory of a previous conversation

  6. Not Having to Remember What You Say, Ever – Why remember what you said 5 minutes ago when instead you can look up on your phone what you said 5 minutes ago? Lets see them put words in your mouth when none came out of there in the first place!

  7. Controversy – Texting is a great way to prevent controversy. You don’t need to respond if you don’t feel like arguing

  8. Silence – Texting is a silent act of communication, so unless you forward your texts, it stays between the sender and the recipient

  9. Deletion – If you change your mind about saying something, you have the ability to delete the message before its sent

  10. Evidence – Especially when it comes to cheating, you have the ability to delete all evidence that anything ever happened over text

How to Buy Out a Car Lease

How to Buy Out a Car Lease Specials

56529482

For most people, driving a car Lease Specials is like being in a short-term relationship. It starts with a heavy dose of infatuation and ends with you dumping your loved one in favor of a new and different love. But sometimes this dynamic changes and you feel a little loyalty growing. People ask themselves all the time, ‘how do I buy out a car Lease Specials?’ And the short answer is, by doing your homework.

Below are a few tips to help you decide whether it’s right for you to buy out your car Lease Specials so you can keep it a while longer.

But first, a little more perspective on leasing. When you Lease Specials a car, the relationship you have is actually with your bank – not with the dealer, nor with your car. So if you think you may fall in love with your car Lease Specials, be careful because for some people it’s just not the right thing to do. For the most part, some people go way over on their miles and think the only way (and the best way) out of the scenario is to buy out the car Lease Specials. But what most people fail to realize is that the cost to pay for the added mileage is a better deal than buying out the residual value (pre-determined price set by the bank) of the car – especially if your feelings of commitment wane just a year later.

But for those people that absolutely fall in love with their car Lease Specials, they can negotiate a good deal with the bank through various financing programs that will have them driving around in their car for a very long time. LeaseTrader.com, the online marketplace that connects people that want to trade a short-term Lease Specials, has certainly seen a rise in the number of people that look to exercise their option to buy out the end of the Lease Specials. It’s a trend that continues to grow in popularity.

How Do I Buy Out My Car Lease Specials? Here are a few tips:

  • Always read your contract to make sure a Lease Specials buyout is an option.

  • Find out the residual value on your vehicle by calling the bank

  • Find out the Lease Specials payout amount from your bank.

  • Try to find out if your leasing company has “residual Insurance,” which protects them and covers the balance between fair market value and an auction price. Some leasing companies may or may not provide this data.

  • Examine your vehicle for any maintenance issue, aesthetic problems and mileage. If none of these areas are problem areas you may be able to negotiate a really good deal.

  • Make sure you’re ready for commitment. In order to truly get your money’s worth you may be looking at holding onto the car for an additional four or more years. If you think you’ll want a different car within the next 18 months it’s time to head back to LeaseTrader.com.

So if you’ve lost that lovin’ feeling on your car Lease Specials and can’t wait to jump into a new relationship, start your engines and get car shopping. But, for those that are interested in doing a Lease Specials buyout because you’ve finally found the one, you might just be in for a happy ending – for now.

Five Reasons Your Dog Loves Riding in a Car

Five Reasons Your Dog Loves Riding in a Car

Dog Loves Riding in a Car

Five Reasons Your Dog Loves Riding in a Car

There’s nothing quite as headache-inducing as listening to the non-stop cries of an unhappy dog trapped in a moving vehicle.

Primarily, there are three reasons why your pet cries. One is the car makes scary noises and vibrates. Two is pets often aren’t able to see out of the window(s). And three is most car rides don’t end up at the dog park, but at a vet office. LeaseTrader.com recently noticed a growing trend of 67 percent increase of shoppers thinking of their pets when shopping for a car (LeaseTrader Story on Fox 5 News San Diego) and came up with 5 tips to help your dog love car rides.

Five Reasons Your Dog Loves Riding in a Car

  1. Make sure your dog is groomed properly and fashionable –

Make sure your dog is groomed properly

Most women do not leave the house without makeup and men always do push-ups and have a plentiful supply of hair gel to always look their best when driving. But is your dog having anxiety about their grooming situation? Make sure and give your dog a quick wash and blow to help them look their best when riding -in your car.

  2. Find out if your dog prefers the front or back seat –

Find out if your dog prefers the front or back seat

Car sickness is not just limited to humans and some people get car sick when riding in the backseat or as shotgun in the front seat. The same goes for dogs. Perhaps you keep putting them shotgun and can tell they look uneasy at your driving. Why not try the backseat and see if that is more his style than riding shotgun with you.

  3. Make sure your dog has eye-protection –

Make sure your dog has eye-protection

Over 90 percent of drivers use some form of eyewear and protection including eyeglasses and sunglasses when driving. Your dog might need the same protection to love riding in your car. Maybe it’s the sunlight directly hitting your dog’s eyes or your dog wants to rock out while driving. I recommend finding some cool shades to help your dog enjoy the ride a little more.

  4. Ask if your dog would like a drink -

Ask if your dog would like a drink

It gets hot while riding in cars and a simple drink might help your dog love riding in cars again. Here’s a trick, stop at the closest fast food place and get a plastic cup filled with water and a straw to prevent spillage, that way when your dog is thirsty they can take a sip and be a happy dog riding in your car.

  5. Make sure your dog has been to the bathroom –

Make sure your dog has been to the bathroom

It is simple for humans to make a pit stop and go to the bathroom, but how does a dog tell you when to stop. It would be great if your dog barked once for 3 seconds and whined for 2 seconds as his universal sign that he needs to use the bathroom. Always make sure to walk your Dog before your begin driving because having a full-bladder can cause discomfort when driving.

How To Negotiate A Car Lease

How To Negotiate A Car Lease Specials

How To Negotiate A Car Lease

Who negotiates better, men or women? A lot of discussion has been made about who is the better negotiator when it comes to car shopping. If you want to know how to negotiate a car Lease Specials, some think men hold an advantage while others feel women are better at getting what they want.

To find the answer one must step back and take a look at the broader picture of the art of negotiation between men and women. A few years ago a study took place on the campus of the University of Arizona. Both men and women participated in a series of questionnaires and at the end of the day organizers asked everyone if $5 was enough compensation for their time.

More than eight times as many men than women negotiated for a higher compensation rate

To be fair, on any other day women could have outweighed the men in a similar type of survey. So when it comes to understanding how to negotiate a car Lease Specials, following are some guidelines to help ensure you get the best possible price:

Negotiating Tips

1) What did the dealer pay? You need a starting point when figuring how to negotiate a car Lease Specials deal. This means you’ve got to understand a good price vs. a not so good price. The best way is to use a service like TrueCar.com, which provides an in-depth analysis of what dealers paid for the car, invoice price and the manufacturer’s suggested retail price (MSRP). The site will also offer guidelines of what a good negotiated price will be for a particular vehicle.

2) Make multiple visits: The worst time to Lease Specials a car is when you desperately need one. The best time is when you take your time. Let the dealer win you over. Take your time. Make sure you leave and come back a few times so that they start to feel anxious about closing you.

3) Comparison shop: As a follow on to the previous tip, go and visit a few other dealers to see what they offer and also to establish a relationship with a salesperson. If you have a few dealers working for your business it ultimately benefits your bottom dollar.

4) Use the Internet: In addition to chatting it up with multiple dealers in your area, be sure to utilize the Internet to check deals from around the state. It’s easy to buy or Lease Specials a car from a different part of the state and they’re more than happy to ship the car right to your doorstep.

5) Love something else: When you go back to the dealer you’ve established a relationship with, make it known you may be falling in love with a different brand. Always make sure they’re selling you because a lower price is part of that sales process. Don’t lose interest entirely or else they’ll think you’re not being serious. A good way to accomplish this is to show some concerns about their car compared with another one you saw. You’d be happy to be with them but you have some concerns.

6) Avoid the dealer altogether: If you want to avoid the dealer altogether check out LeaseTrader.com, which is an online marketplace where you can comparison shop to take over the Lease Specials from someone else. The cars are still in excellent condition and you’ll avoid a down payment and long-term Lease Specials commitment. It’s a money-saver and a hassle saver.

Knowing these guidelines will be key in understanding how to negotiate a car Lease Specials that fits within your budget.

Dating an Apple Fan and a Car Enthusiast Lover

Dating an Apple Fan and Car Enthusiast Lover

Dating an Apple Fan and Car Enthusiast Lover

Coming in June 2010, Cupidtino.com – a beautiful new dating site created for fans of Apple products by fans of Apple products,” according to Cupidtino.com. The sites name is a play on the words Cupid and Cupertino, the city in California where Apple is Based. Now that we have seen every type of dating site almost imaginable, is there a dating site for car enthusiasts?

Technically speaking, LeaseTrader.com is considered an online matchmaking service that matches someone looking to get out of a car Lease Specials with someone looking to get into that  exact car Lease Specials. Could LeaseTrader.com be onto a successful formula that has matched car drivers across the entire U.S. and Canada over the past 12 years?

Maybe you consider yourself a car enthusiast or you could have such deep admiration and adornment for your car that you would call yourself a mechanophile. But what ways can a car enthusiast meet another car enthusiast? Match.com, eHarmony.com, and Plentyoffish.com (just to name a few) are not 100 percent geared toward the exact science of finding a like-minded car enthusiast. Here are some ways I came up with and are not in any particular order:

4 Ways to Find a Car Enthusiast to Date:

  1. Mutual Friend – Put the word out. Start sending tweets using Twitter or create a fan page for single car enthusiast on Facebook.

  2. Work or School – Create a flyer and leaflet your campus with what exactly you are looking for and have them contact you at a specified anonymous email address or anonymously send an email to everyone at work stating your desire to find a single car enthusiast.

  3. Online Web-Site – Try signing up for some well-known dating sites like Chemistry.com or Jdate.com. Better yet, try a smaller niche website like Metrodate.com or Sugardaddie.com. You are sure to find someone that loves their car as much as their women on a smaller dating site.

  4. Car Shows or Auto Part Store – Seems like the most obvious, but is probably one of the most difficult ways to meet someone. Reason is, If you are at a car show there are already half-naked women walking around and standing next to the cars (trying to get car enthusiasts attention). However, an auto part store like Pep Boys or Discount Auto is a sure-fire way to start a conversation in the oil change section. What weight do you use for your car is a great question to ask to stir up a conversation.

Recall – Chrysler - Dodge Ram 2500 and 3500 Heavy Duty pickup trucks

2010 Dodge Ram 3500 Laramie Mega Cab 4x4

Today Chrysler has voluntarily recalled over 186,000 diesel powered Dodge Ram 2500 and 3500 Heavy Duty pickup trucks. Model Year 2007 through 2009

This recall includes all trucks equipped with 6.7-liter Cummins diesel engines that falsely illuminate the check engine warning under certain conditions, causing the engine to produce large amount of soot that could possibly damage the turbocharger, exhaust gas recirculation valve and diesel particulate filter and result in increased emissions.

To solve this issue, dealers will update the engine control module firmware. The upload and diagnostic could take about an hour to complete.

Special Note for California Residents

We have been told by sources at Pickuptrucks.com., you will be unable to renew your registration of your Dodge Ram pickup truck equipped with 6.7-liter Cummins diesel engines in California if you don't get the recall repaired. 5 Signs A Girlfriend Should Not Drive Your Car

While writing this story I came across an interesting article on the topic which gender made for worse drivers. According to a study from the Insurance Information Institute men are more likely than women to break traffic laws, drive under the influence, and be involved in accidents, including fatal ones.  Most notably, women cruising and boozing is up 14.3% from 1998 to 2007 compared to men is down 19.7%. I’ll just call this survey shenanigans because obviously men drive more than women.

Females' DUIs up 14.3%:
Year DUIs Drivers % with DUIs
1998 126,119 91,875,439 0.14%
2007 162,493 103,276,909 0.16

Males' DUIs down 19.7%:
Year DUIs Drivers % with DUIs
1998 676,911 93,104,738 0.73%
2007 626,371 102,464,936 0.61

Especially when leasing a car you should take note of these red flags before you let someone drive your car.

Signs of Bad Driving From Your Girlfriend:

1.) Is she easily distracted? For example, your girlfriend is a graphic designer and every billboard or advertising sign on the road, she slows down to take a picture of it.

2.) Does she not pay attention to speed limits? Some highlights from the Allstate Insurance Co - 48% of women readily admitted they are likely to speed more than 10 m.p.h over the limit, versus 36% of men. 16% of girls describe their driving as aggressive, up from 9% in 2005.

3) She doesn’t brake when she sees brake lights ahead. I can personally speak to seeing this happen time and time again with my girlfriend and I quote from her “I do not brake until I see the lights in front of the car in front of me brake. Then and only then I know to brake.

4) Does she drive with two feet. Using the right foot for the pedal and left foot for the brake is a recipe for failure. Subconsciously if her foot touches the brake pedal even slightly, it can light the brake lights and is dangerous to other drivers who have no idea why she is braking.

5) Does she try to audition for American Idol while driving? I would estimate close to 95% of drivers listen to the radio while in the car. If your girlfriend is trying to sign and drive, what’s going to happen? She’s paying attention to carefully choreographing her singing instead of focusing on the road.
