Dating an Apple Fan and Car Enthusiast Lover

Coming in June 2010, Cupidtino.com – a beautiful new dating site created for fans of Apple products by fans of Apple products,” according to Cupidtino.com. The sites name is a play on the words Cupid and Cupertino, the city in California where Apple is Based. Now that we have seen every type of dating site almost imaginable, is there a dating site for car enthusiasts?

Technically speaking, LeaseTrader.com is considered an online matchmaking service that matches someone looking to get out of a car Lease Specials with someone looking to get into that  exact car Lease Specials. Could LeaseTrader.com be onto a successful formula that has matched car drivers across the entire U.S. and Canada over the past 12 years?

Maybe you consider yourself a car enthusiast or you could have such deep admiration and adornment for your car that you would call yourself a mechanophile. But what ways can a car enthusiast meet another car enthusiast? Match.com, eHarmony.com, and Plentyoffish.com (just to name a few) are not 100 percent geared toward the exact science of finding a like-minded car enthusiast. Here are some ways I came up with and are not in any particular order:

4 Ways to Find a Car Enthusiast to Date:

  1. Mutual Friend – Put the word out. Start sending tweets using Twitter or create a fan page for single car enthusiast on Facebook.

  2. Work or School – Create a flyer and leaflet your campus with what exactly you are looking for and have them contact you at a specified anonymous email address or anonymously send an email to everyone at work stating your desire to find a single car enthusiast.

  3. Online Web-Site – Try signing up for some well-known dating sites like Chemistry.com or Jdate.com. Better yet, try a smaller niche website like Metrodate.com or Sugardaddie.com. You are sure to find someone that loves their car as much as their women on a smaller dating site.

  4. Car Shows or Auto Part Store – Seems like the most obvious, but is probably one of the most difficult ways to meet someone. Reason is, If you are at a car show there are already half-naked women walking around and standing next to the cars (trying to get car enthusiasts attention). However, an auto part store like Pep Boys or Discount Auto is a sure-fire way to start a conversation in the oil change section. What weight do you use for your car is a great question to ask to stir up a conversation.
